I've got the Blues

The colors I used when I did my nails were very similar so they blended well. It created a mulit-dimensional look to the nails. However, if you wished, you could use a light and dark color to create a more obvious split down the center.

First I painted my nails with the lighter of the two colours. After that had mostly dried I painted one half of my nails the darker colour.There was no tape used, only a steady hand.

Simple Heart Design

This is a really simple heart design that can be done with a nail brush. Before actually trying anything on your nails I would suggest that you test it out on paper or a friend first.

The heart design is composed of two simple brush or pen strokes. All that is needed is two lines intersecting together at the bottom point of the heart. They will look like this:
